Outpost 51 Roleplay Empty
PostSubject: Outpost 51 Roleplay   Outpost 51 Roleplay Empty9/10/2011, 23:59

Every one that was in or part of the original Outpost 51 knows who they are, for the most part.

These characters are all fictionally and are either created by Celery and myself.

For those who lack the knowledge of Outpost 51 I will include a small Bio on each Character starting with rank.
I will also stat whom this person is roleplayed by.

First we have
Sargent Blackenshire: Blackenshire was born in the small village of Chesshire. He joined the Army as a Musketeer at the age of 17 and then was shipped out to battle the French. After serving three years against enemies of the England in Europe, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal. After a weapon's malfunction in southern France Blackenshire tried to unjam his musket, in the process dropping it. It then discharged, firing a round at the enemies defenses hitting and killing an officer. He was then promoted to Sargent. The colonel (Company leader) asked him if would rather stay here fighting the French or defend the colonies against savage natives. He said he would rather defend the colonies then have to stay another day in France. Then he was shipped across the sea to a strange new world, North America. (Snipe)

Corporal Jeremy Smith: Smith was born in London to a proud Black Smith (Ironical isn't a Smith who is a smith.) He worked in the smithy for 10 years. He found it quite boring, he was always doing the same thing: making horse shoes or other simple iron products, he wanted to meet foreign cultures and see lands where the sky was blue and not corrupted with black smoke. So at the age of 18 he join the Army as a Grenadier. He was sent to the colonies to quell a small bands of rebels who were trying to break away from England (What nerve). He spend much of his time learning about the native customs and cultures, soon after he was able to speak the languages of the larger tribes. He was also constantly getting in arguments with his Color Sargent about the proper term of the natives. Whom the Sargent kept calling Indians, when there were not from India but from America. He was later promoted to Corporal when he was able to communicate with local natives and convince that the British came in peace attack. After getting in a major disagreement with the Sargent he was sent to outpost 51 were a Sargent Blackenshire was stationed. Corporal Smith uses his abilities of both blacksmithing and local costumes to aid the group in countless situations. (ROCK)

Private First Class Lewis Richards: Richards was born in London to a profitable barber shop. Where he worked til he was about 19. The barber business wasn't doing so well and it was not gonna be enough to support his new wife and his child on the way. He had to give the barber shop to his brother and then he joined the army. He was shipped to the colonies. His job was to defend a fort built to control a very profitable river. While he was there he learned the basics of being a soldier. He also served as a barber keeping all the soldiers' hair in fine condition. Then on what appeared to be normal day he heard drums in the distance. He then ran over to the walls of the fort to see what was happening and he saw an enemy army approaching. He readied his musket, aiming at the large crowd of people, he knew that the fort was outnumbered. Other soldiers started running to the wall and preparing for the oncoming battle. He and his comrades fought bravely against the larger force. At the end of the battle they had lost but put up a very good fight. After the enemy broke through the front gate, Richards snuck out of the base and started heading toward the closest base, which was 10 miles away. When he got there he told the commanding officer about what had happened at the fort. The officer promoted him to Private First Class and said to him that he did a good job, and he was going to send him to an outpost where there wasn't so much fighting. He arrived in Outpost 51 two days later. He aids the outpost by keeping their hair cut and is always willing to go on a journey, also it always seems that he gets injured the most. (Celery)

Private Sean Dubbens: Dubbens was born in Ireland to a crime clan, which controlled an entire county. He spend most of his time chasing around the young lasses and getting drunk, which was the reasons of his downfall. His family was famous for there whiskey and woman. His family owned many pubs and brothels. They also were in charge of many riots against the crown. The English government caught up with his family and forced the young males to be straightened out in the army and arrested the others. Sean was sent into the Seventh Infantry Division as a basic Redcoat. The Seventh was based in American. His company battled the Spanish in the Southern part of North America for control of territory. He would always do the least to get by never volunteering for anything. In the begin of his military career he would spend all of his earning on moonshine made in the cellar of a nearby Inn. Member's of the Seventh were no allowed to drink or buy alcohol from taverns. He after learning how profitable whiskey could be, he built a still in the woods. With his talents learned from his family back in Ireland the whiskey he made turned out to be big. He made triple the amount of money it costed to make the stuff, so he was very well off. He realized that this place was missing something very important women. If he could have a control on that he would be even richer. Only problem was the only woman he knew of was the captain's wife, so he went to spy on her. After being caught spying on the Captain's wife he was whipped and sent to the farthest outpost he could think of, which was Outpost 51. Dubbens adds his own unique touch to the Outpost, by drinking all alcohol rations and being decent with weapons, strangely he has never built a still in or around Outpost 51. (Slice)

Every one above the line is from the Original cast every one below is an add on.

Mcmute: Very little is known about this fellow not even his name. He doesn't not talk. This if from an arrow flesh wound in the throat. He barley survived it, the wound made him loose the ability to talk. He is also Scottish,(This is where his nick name McMute came from) this was determined by the Tam o' Shanter cap he wheres on his head. He also wears the Uniform of an Royal Scot. (This also convinced the group he is Scottish) Which is an Infantry division from Scotland (He does not wear a kilt). No one knows where he really comes from but all they know is that he is a good fighter and he is Scottish. He just showed up to the outpost one day with a letter from a British Colonel saying that this Scotsman is joining the outpost. He also has a grudge against natives, this grudge was caused from the arrow which took his voice from him. (Moose)

Private Jonathon Jones: Jones was the Illegitimate of a renowned Butler, his mother was a young maid when she had him. Both his Father and Mother work for Duke Dirk Williams, His mother worked in the Duke's summer home, his Father was the Duke's Personal Butler. After his father hear about the child he will always stay clear from her and the child. Jonathon grew a semi normal life he helped out around the house. Every was fine and dandy until he was 17 years old when a tall man in a red coat came knocking on the door. Jonathon was sold into military service, Jonathon was allowed to keep ten percent of what he made the rest went to his mother. He was shipped across the sea into a small base in New York state. He was on patrol with a couple of his fellow soldiers when he was ambushed by natives. He was shot first in the back of the calf. He stumbled to the ground, he watched as the Natives killed all his comrades and scalped every one except him he thought he was dead when he saw the same Indiana who scalped his friend walking towards him. The next thing he heard was a shot. The native fell and people started shouting something about 'Dubbens go around and flank' and 'Sarge there a red skin in that tree.' A fellow in a Red Grenadier's coat helped him up and carried him to Outpost 51. He healed up in a few days, he helps around the outpost by cleaning up about the place and cooking some of his mother's soup. (Pughead)

Pvt Hardy Johnson: Johnson was another soldier who was born in London, his family own a Parasol Business and would sell only the finest made Parasols in all of London. One day Johnson's father saw imported foreign silks, thinking to himself that the only way he could get his hands on some was to have someone get it for him. So he then signed his own son up for the army hoping he would be sent to the middle east, but unfortunately he was sent to the Americans. He was garrisoned at a fort which main goal was to reinforce outposts, then when en route to Outpost 53 his company was ambushed by rebellious colonists, every one in the platoon was killed except him and two other soldiers. They traveled together until they found a fork in the road the other two went one way and he went another. Soon after he found him self in front of a poorly made sign saying "Outpost 51" He climbed a boulder which apparently was this Outpost. He asked the CO if he could be so kind as to point him in the way to Outpost 53 but the Sargent replied that he would have no chance to make it their by himself and told him that he could stay on with them. Johnson helps around the base by keeping the sun off the people by making parasols and trying to make the company laugh with his jokes. (What ever his name is this week 52)

These are the characters with real people playing as them, there are many more non player owned characters that will be later in this post.
If you want a character and don't have one I can make you one.

Under this Line are minor characters
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Mrs. Brooke Richards: Brooke worked with Lewis helping out around the place until Lewis gave it to his brother and joined the army. Mrs Richards died in child birth, Lewis wasn't informed about this til months later when he received her ring in the mail and a letter of death.

Mrs. Red Dove Dubbens: Dubbens one day decided to trade his State of the ark Breach loader rifle for a beautiful native princess. At first Dubbens didn't marry her, he just used her. But after the ordeal with the pastor the group convinced him to marry her. She resides as one of the few wifes at Outpst 51.

Mrs. Ruth Richards: Ruth was Journalist who grew up in Boston. While passing through the area around Outpost 51 her, her father (a pastor) and her mother.
While there she observed the soldier stationed there, for a book she was writing. Figuring that she could observe them better if she could stay longer. So one night she got Richards drunk and got her father to marry. Her family left to return back to Boston. She spend most of her time on her book or patching up Lewis every time he gets injured.

More to follow.

Under this line will be the area and items.

Outpost 51: I bet you all were expecting to be big and have a lot of cannons and stuff and nice walls but the truth is all it is a boulder, a shed and a campfire.
The Outpost is in Upstate New York the boulder where the soldier stay most of the time have a view of the only road. The area is densely populated with trees and natives. The Shed is used to store ammo and food and it usually guarded by Dubbens. The base could probably hold about 15 people on the rock and like 50 more if they lived in tents in the clearing. (I might have picture as this location is based off a reel spot.)

Rifle: The main four are equipped with State of the Art breach loader rifle. They can be faster at least twice as fast as the traditionally musket. The ammo is rare however. I bet you are wondering why is a awesome rifle given to a small bunch of soldiers and an outpost at that, The answer is simple why give unstable guns to a whole army when you can see how they work in the field by giving them to a semi-worthless outpost.

Musket: Everyone whom was not part of the outpost to begin with are equipped with muskets, one shot guns where after each shot, you must first pour powder in, then drop the round in, then gently pack down the ball and powder with ram rod. These weapons are less accurate then the rifles the other soldiers have. Ammo is very common for this weapon.

Bayonet: the pointy thing you put on the front of you gun.

Just like the Demoman!

Anyway, how can the resident marshmallow fit into this crazy story? How about the young, speedy guy who snuck in a baseball cap with a circled X on it? Specializes in shotguns and scatterguns?
